Peaceful Tide was one of my 1st attempts at a seascape.  I don't usually paint with such soft colors. However, I felt in this particular moment that it was the right way to go.  To me, it's just a quiet moment in time at my favourite place, the beach. When there isn't anybody there, it's quiet, calming and a good place to sit and reflect. It's a soothing place for me. The blues, teals and yellows are all soft, happy colors.
