Seizure

There was a time when I had multiple people in my life with brain issues - brain cancer, brain death, seizures, etc. After seeing many MRI's and brain scans, I was feeling overwhelmed and wasn't sure how to deal with everything that was going on.  I decided to paint.  Over a few weeks, I painted a piece now called Seizure.  It is a piece with lots of color and lines expressing the erratic behavior of brainwaves when your brain is not working correctly.  I received some very good feedback on this piece and decided to do a series that shows the difference between normal brain waves and when something goes wrong. The painting Seizure is when everything goes wrong because your brain waves are misfiring. When your brain doesn't work right, for whatever reason - cancer, epilepsy, damage from drugs and/or alcohol - your brain waves either don't work anymore or they are like an uncontrollable electric storm.
