These abstract originals done with acrylic were right before the Brain Wave Series.  They were still related to the people that I knew that had brain conditions - seizures, cancer, etc.  But with these paintings, I painted loosely and let the music that I was listening to guide my actions.  Most of it was not brush work but palette knife.  It was quick strokes, letting the feeling of the music, and my internal feelings guide my strokes.  The fact that a face or head ended up being a central focus of each piece was a complete accident.  If you believe in the supernatural, maybe it wasn't an accident.  I can honestly say that I did not plan it but afterwards, the faces were clearly there.  So I leave it to your personal decision to see what you see or what you don't.
