Awakening I is showing the symbol of Yin with the bold black color but then there are parts of the painting that show white coming thru. This is piece is symbolizing that even if your spirit is predominantly female, you may also have some of the male spirit in you.  It may be because you mentally or emotionally have a better understanding of the male spirit.  It may also be that there is a part of you that is more male.  There are elements in the LGBTQ community where a woman can be a woman but still somewhat identify with her male spirit.  Or when you have a transgender male.  Someone who starts out life as a female but then realizes her male spirit is stronger and she transitions more towards the male spirit that lives in that body.
